A tree moving service at the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden The professionals from Opitz-international overcame a massive challenge in the truest sense of the word at the zoo of the Hungarian capital. 3 majestic trees were successfully moved using the large tree moving service. The two “smaller” plane trees had a root ball size of 4.5 x 4.5 metres and weighed 65 tons each.
After this task was successfully completed, the largest and most beautiful plane tree with a root ball diameter of 6 x 6 metres and a total weight of 107 tons was also efficiently moved to its new location in the elephant enclosure of Budapest Zoo. The pachyderms were visibly delighted with their new shade provider!
