Erlangen urban densification

The housing shortage in cities has meant that urban densification, i.e. the use of vacant land within an existing development, is a highly topical issue. Opitz international is also helping to preserve trees in Erlangen and transplant them to another location within the area. Optimum use can therefore be made of the existing green spaces which are beneficial to the environment.
